For finance

Read the plan without being able to change it

Falrow is not an accounting system, and this page will not pretend otherwise. What it gives finance is a read-only seat on the real plan: what is committed, when it is likely to land, and which customer it belongs to.

What you do with it

The parts of the workspace you actually touch

Viewer role

A seat that cannot break anything

Four roles: owner, admin, member and viewer. A viewer reads every ticket, cycle, customer and report and writes nothing, and the same check applies in the browser, in Slack, over the API and through MCP.

12 report sections

Scope per cycle, as it really was

Reports replay each ticket's recorded history, so a finished cycle's scope stays as it was even when work later moved, reopened or was deleted. Cycle scope and points by cycle are two of the twelve sections.

Forecast honesty

Dates with a probability attached

A range rather than a date: P50, P85 and P95, from simulations over your own completion history. Below four complete weeks and ten completions the report says it cannot answer instead of guessing.

Self-hosted

The data stays where you put it

One codebase on one SQLite database, built to run on a server you control, with commands to back it up, verify the bundle and restore it. Secrets are encrypted, passwords hashed, logins throttled.

Where it connects

Work arrives from somewhere, and goes somewhere

One workspace means the handover is a link between records rather than a message asking someone to copy something across.

Salesyou

Customer stage and value, kept on the customer record

Engineeringyou

Committed scope per cycle, rebuilt from history

Youeveryone

The same numbers they are looking at, with no export step

What it does not do

There is no invoicing, no time tracking, no rates, no budgets and no cost reporting. Nothing in Falrow produces a figure in a currency. If you need billable hours, this is the wrong tool for that part.

We would rather you read that here than find it out in week two.
